About Grant

Grant is the Executive Director of ReCraft Creative Reuse Center, a 501(c)(3) organization connecting creative people with reusable materials. His passion lies in building "infrastructures of joy"—creating systems that connect others to happiness and meaning.

Based in Greenville, South Carolina, Grant lives with his wife, dog, and young son, Sam. He is a social innovator, tinkerer, and upcycler who successfully transformed his Clemson MBA capstone project into reality through ReCraft.

Before his current role, Grant spent eight years in marketing with a Fortune 250 railroad and five years in foreign direct investment and business attraction in Virginia. He holds the distinction of being the youngest-ever IEDC-certified economic developer.

Grant's interests include cooking, guitar playing, and sketchnoting. He finds inspiration in works like "The Overstory," "Change By Design," and "The Atlantic," as well as cultural touchstones such as "Hudson Hawk," "The Wire," "The Blue Album," and "The Obvious Child." He firmly believes that "immersion in nature makes people more caring and generous."
