The comic book is a reflection of the needs of a society or individuals. Many people in today’s society identify with their favorite superheroes. The question is… how are superheroes responsible for helping us live our lives when futures may look grim?

What can we learn and be inspired by our superheroes?

John is a comic book and superhero expert and applies this knowledge to our everyday lives. 

About John

John is a retired music teacher from Walhalla High School, having dedicated 40 years to classroom education. Throughout the past 35 years, he has simultaneously served as a church choir director and service musician. Originally from New York, John holds a BA in Music Education from Long Island University, an MA in Education Administration and Supervision from Clemson University, and an MA in Choral Conducting from Western Carolina University.

Beyond his educational and church work, John has established himself as an award-winning speaker and presenter. He has been repeatedly invited to share his expertise at prestigious events including the Balanced Mind Arts Conference in New York, the High Schools That Work National Conference, the ACDA National Conference, and the Education and Business Conference of South Carolina. John has also collaborated multiple times with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship.

Currently, John continues his passion for music as a vocalist and keyboardist in a local rock band, bringing his extensive musical experience to new audiences.
